New leak reveals AMD Zen4 processor’s score on a Geekbench

The revealer released a Geekbench benchmark test result. From the picture, it is an unrecognizable device, but he said that this is AMD’s upcoming Zen4 platform new product.

Moreover, from the test results, Geekbench recognized it as “AMD Ryzen 5 4500U“, but this is obviously wrong. After all, the highest single multi-core 4500U is only about 1100/4500, and even most of the time.

Of course, this test platform will not be mentioned first, but the test results are definitely problematic. For example, the single-core running score of 24723 directly beats 2913 of the current single-core second place (i9-12900K 3231 MHz) on Geekbench, which is about 8.5 times; the multi-core 5588 score is about half of the current 5800X, which is of no reference value.

It is worth mentioning that some users reported that this single-core performance is AMD’s black technology, similar to combining all available cores through a virtual environment, and the test platform can only identify a unique core. Therefore, IPC successfully broke through the horizon.

Previously, AMD executives said that the Zen 4 architecture will appear in AMD’s 2022 CES press conference, but it seems to be just an episode. The main content of the conference is the Zen 3 architecture equipped with 3D V-Cache.

Furthermore, AMD will launch the next-generation Ryzen 6000 series notebook processors at CES 2022 and is expected to launch Zen 3 desktop processors with 3D V-Cache technology and Threadripper PRO 5000 series workstation processors. The Zen 4 architecture processor is expected to be released around the third quarter of 2022.

Besides, the AMD CES 2022 conference will start at 10 am Eastern Time on Tuesday, January 4. AMD President and CEO Dr. Su Zifeng will host the new product launch conference, focusing on the innovation and solutions of AMD Ryzen processors and AMD Radeon graphics cards.
