You can use your iPhone to access all of your data and files stored in your computer and file server. To do this you can use the Files app in your iPhone to connect to a computer or file server.
How to connect to a computer or file server on iPhone:
Step1: Open Files app.
Step2: Click on the More button at the top of the Browse screen.
Step3: Click on Connect to Server.
Step4: Enter a local hostname or a network address, then click on Connect.
Step5: Select how you want to connect:
- Guest: You can connect as a Guest user if the shared computer permits guest access.
- Registered User: If you select Registered User, enter your user name and password.
Step6: Click on Next, then select the server volume or shared folder in the Browse screen.
Step7: To disconnect from the file server, click on the Eject button next to the server in the Browse screen.
Note: After you connect to a computer or file server, it appears in the Recent Servers list on the Connect to Server screen. To connect to a recent server, tap its name.
