Apple iOS 15 tips and tricks: How to change the information for a lost device
In this article, we will tell you how to change the information for a lost device.
“Find My” is an app and service provided by Apple Inc. This feature allows you to connect your iOS devices so that you can find them in case they got lost.
You can use the Find My app to locate and play a sound on a missing iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, or Beats headphones. To locate a device, you must turn on Find My [device] before it’s lost.
If your device is lost or stolen, you can turn on Lost Mode for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch, or lock your Mac. In iOS 15 you can mark supported AirPods as lost if you turned on the Find My network. In iOS 15.1 you can mark iPhone Leather Wallet as lost as well.
After you mark your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or iPhone Leather Wallet as lost, you can adjust the information in the Lost Mode message.
