What is the Measure app?
The Measure app is a digital measuring tool that is developed by Apple inc. It uses augmented reality (AR) technology to turn your device into a tape measure. You can gauge the size of objects, automatically detect the dimensions of rectangular objects, and save a photo of the measurement. You can measure objects more easily with visible guides, measure a person’s height, and also see a history of your measurements.
How to use edge guides:
Step 1: In the Measure app, position the dot at the center of the screen along the straight edge of an object until a guide appears.
Step 2: Tap the Add button where you want to begin measuring.
Step 3: Slowly pan along the guide, then tap the Add button at the endpoint to see the measured length.
Step 4: To take a photo of your measurement, tap the Take Picture button.
