You can also use the Measure app to instantly measure a person’s height from the floor to the top of their head, hair, or hat. You can even measure the seated height of a person in a chair. This feature is only available on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

What is the Measure app?
The Measure app is a digital measuring tool that is developed by Apple inc. It uses augmented reality (AR) technology to turn your device into a tape measure. You can gauge the size of objects, automatically detect the dimensions of rectangular objects, and save a photo of the measurement. You can measure objects more easily with visible guides, measure a person’s height, and also see a history of your measurements.
How to measure a person’s height:
Step 1: Open the measure app, then position your iPhone in a way so that the person you want to measure appears on the screen from head to toe.

- After a moment, a line appears at the top of the person’s head (or hair, or hat), with the height measurement showing just below the line.
Step 2: To take a photo of the measurement, tap the Take Picture button.
Step 3: To save the photo, tap the screenshot in the lower-left corner, tap Done, then choose Save to Photos or Save to Files.
