The Messages app allows you to send text messages as SMS and MMS messages through your cellular service to your contacts. It also helps you to send photos, videos, and audio messages using iMessage or your SMS/MMS service. You can send or receive audio messages in the middle of a group or individual conversation and also listen or reply to an audio message by using the Raise to Listen feature. What is the Message app?

The Message app is an instant messaging service developed by Apple Inc. to send text messages over cellular service to people available on your contact list. You can send photos, videos, and other info to your contacts. You can also personalize your messages with animated effects, Memoji stickers, iMessage apps, and more.

How to turn on or off Raise to listen:

Step 1: Go to settings.

Step 2: Tap Messages.

Step 3: Then turn on/off Raise to listen.

How to use Raise to listen:

  • Raise your iPhone to your ear to play incoming audio messages.
  • Raise it again to reply.
