Samsung has finally launched its Galaxy S22 smartphone equipped with Android 12 based One UI 4.1. This new smartphone from Samsung offers a lot of new features and the Wireless power-sharing is one of them. In this article, we will tell you how you can enable Wireless Power Sharing in Samsung Galaxy S22.

But if you are wondering what is Wireless Power Sharing then here’s an explanation for you- Wireless PowerSharing is an innovative feature that lets you turn your Samsung Galaxy S22 into a wireless charger. Also known as reverse wireless charging, it gives you the power to share your battery and charge your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds+ with ease.

Wireless power-sharing works with most Qi-Certified devices. Requires minimum 30% battery to share. Speed and power efficiency of charge varies by device.

How to enable Wireless power-sharing:

Step 1: Open the notification panel, swipe downwards, and then tap (Wireless power-sharing)to activate it.

  • If you cannot find (Wireless power-sharing) on the quick panel, tap and drag the button over to add it.

Step 2: Place the other device on the center of your device, with their backs facing.

Step 3: When you are finished charging, disconnect the other device from your device.

Note:

  • The location of the wireless charging coil may vary by device model. Adjust the devices to connect properly.
  • Some features are not available while sharing power.
  • Only devices that support the wireless charging feature can be charged using this feature. Some devices may not be charged. To see devices that support the Wireless power-sharing feature, visit the Samsung website.
  • To charge properly, do not move or use either device while charging.
  • The power charged to the other device may be less than the amount shared to it by your device.
  • If you charge the other device while charging your device, the charging speed may decrease or the device may not charge properly depending on the charger type.
  • The charging speed or efficiency may vary depending on the device’s condition or the surrounding environment
