Samsung Galaxy S22 tips: How to create and edit folders on the Apps screen [One UI 4.1]

Samsung has launched its new Galaxy S22 series smartphone equipped with Android 12 based One UI 4.1. It offers a lot of apps and features that you can easily view and access on the Apps screen. Without further ado let’s move to the tip we have brought you. In this article, we will tell you how you can create and edit folders on the Apps screen on Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series allows you to create folders in the Home and Apps screen. Creating folders helps you to gather similar apps in a folder and then later lets you quickly access and launch apps.

How to create and edit a folder:

Step 1: On the Home screen or the Apps screen, tap and hold an app.

Step 2: Then drag the app over another app.

  • A new folder containing the selected apps will be created.

Step 3: Then tap Folder name and enter a name.

After creating a folder choose from the following options to edit:

  1. Adding more apps:
  • Tap on the folder. Tick the apps to add and tap Done. You can also add an app by dragging it to the folder.

2. Moving apps from a folder:

  • Tap and hold an app to drag it to a new location.

3. Deleting a folder:

  • Tap and hold a folder, and then tap Delete folder. Only the folder will be deleted. The folder’s apps will be relocated to the Apps screen
