Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone equipped with Android 12 based One UI 4.1 has recently launched in the market loaded with Samsung’s innovative camera technology with lots of fun to use features and modes. All of these features and modes allow you to capture or record your favorite moments, things, and objects according to your wish. It also allows you to customize the given features and modes to your likings.

In this article, we will tell you how you can Customize the Camera settings on your Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone.

How to customize camera settings:

Step 1: Open the Camera app.

Step 2: Then tap settings.

Step 3: Then choose what you want to customize from the following options:

  • Intelligent features: 
    • Scene optimizer: Set the device to adjust the color settings and apply the optimized effect automatically depending on the subject or scene.
    • Shot suggestions: Set the device to suggest the ideal composition for the picture by recognizing the position and angle of your subject.
    • Scan QR codes: Set the device to scan QR codes from the preview screen.
  • Pictures:
    • Swipe the Shutter button to: Select an action to perform when you swipe the camera button to the edge of the screen and hold it.
    • Picture formats: Select how you want to save the picture.
      • High-efficiency pictures: Take pictures in the High-Efficiency Image Format (HEIF).
      • RAW copies: Set the device to save pictures as uncompressed RAW files (DNG file format) in pro mode. RAW files retain all of a picture’s data for the best image quality, but they will take up more memory. When using the RAW copies feature, each picture is saved in two formats, DNG and JPG.
  • Selfies:
    • Save selfies as previewed: Set the device to save pictures as they appear on the preview screen when taken with the front camera without flipping them.
    • Selfie color tone: Set a tone to apply when you take selfies. etc.
