Samsung offers a lot of interesting camera features with its Galaxy S series. And this year it has launched the Galaxy S22 series smartphone loaded with lots of innovative camera technology and the Super Slow-mo mode is one of them.

The Super Slow-mo mode is one of the best camera features that allow you to record a quickly passing moment or object slowly so that you can appreciate it later. In this article, we will tell you how you can automatically record Super Slow-mo video in the camera app on your Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone.

But before that let’s talk about how it works, so basically slow-motion video works by shooting at high frames per second (fps) rate and then playing it back at a much slower rate. But the Super Slow-mo feature records the action at 960 fps, which is four times faster than a regular slow-motion and when you play it back at 30 fps that’s 32x slower, it creates a moment that looks epic.

How to record Super slow-mo videos automatically:

Step 1: Open the Camera app.

Step 2: Then tap the Motion detection button to activate it.

  • The motion detection feature will be activated and the motion detection area will appear on the preview screen.

Step 3: Then tap the Super slow-mo button to start recording.

  • When motion is detected on the preview screen, the device will begin recording the video in super slow motion and then save it as a video in the Gallery.
