Because in this article we are going to tell you how you can open a locked note in the Notes app on your iPhone 13.

You can use your Face ID as a convenient way to access your locked notes. After opening one locked note the Notes will open all of your locked notes in the same account for several minutes so you can easily jump into another note or copy and paste information from other apps.

However, we will suggest you don’t rely on Face ID as the only means of unlocking your notes. Because If you update your Face ID settings, or want to change your Notes password, you have to reenter your Notes password. For this reason, it’s strongly recommended that you add a password hint when you create the password.

What is the Note app?

Notes is a notetaking app developed by Apple. It functions as a service for making short text notes, which can be synchronized between devices using Apple’s iCloud. It lets you capture a quick thought, create checklists, sketch ideas, and more.

How to Open a locked note in the Notes app:

Step 1: On your iPhone 13 go to the app drawer and find the Notes app.

Step 2: After finding the Notes app click on the note app to open it.

Step 3: In the Notes app, tap the locked note and select view notes.

Step 4: After that, your device will ask you for your Face ID or Password. Use any one of them to open your locked notes.

Step 5: After your work is done use any of the following options to lock your notes again:

      • Tap the lock icon at the top of the screen.
      • Tap Lock Now at the bottom of the notes list.
      • Close the Notes app.
      • Lock your iPhone 13.
