The new technology of domestic display manufacturer BOE was revealed. According to the revealer Digital Chat Station, “BOE is also working on a new type of pixel arrangement similar to RGB, with higher precision than the existing diamond-like technology. The technology of domestic screen factories is advancing by leaps and bounds.”

Recently, BOE was said to be in talks with Honor to produce a dual-layer tandem OLED panel for a smartphone the latter plans to launch later this year. This OLED panel has two emissive layers and can reduce smartphone power consumption by about 30 percent. This means a smaller battery can be used, allowing the phone to be designed thinner.

In addition, the Honor Magic4 / Pro series is also equipped with BOE’s f-OLED display. BOE said that the Honor Magic4 series uses BOE’s 6.81-inch flexible OLED screen, and the entire series is equipped with BOE’s LTPO technology, 1Hz-120Hz adaptive seven-band dynamic refresh mode.

Moreover, the 360Hz high touch sampling rate and BOE’s self-developed Q8 new-generation EL light-emitting device have the advantages of low power consumption, high image quality, and strong battery life, allowing users to enjoy a high-quality screen display without worrying about battery life.

At the same time, the entire Honor Magic 4 series adopts BOE’s self-developed new pixel arrangement, which optimizes the underlying logical structure of pixel display, and fully upgrades the picture quality display, which is bright and colorful, achieving double improvement of picture quality and screen display life.
