Notebooks equipped with Intel’s 12th-generation Core Processor maybe available from March 24

Gaming notebooks equipped with 12th-generation Core H-series processors have been launched last month, and thin and light notebooks equipped with 12th-generation Core P or U series are expected to be launched on the 24th of this month.

Compared with the previous “four-core and eight-thread” processors on Intel’s thin and light notebooks, the 12th-generation Core P series has a maximum of 14 cores and 20 threads, which will bring a significant performance improvement.

Moreover, Intel has said 12th-generation Intel Core P-series and U-series processors, and the first devices with these processors will be available in March 2022. More than 250 models from manufacturers such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI, NEC, Samsung, and more will be launched this year.

Intel’s latest mobile processors for thin and light notebooks feature a high-performance hybrid architecture of integrated performance cores (P cores) and energy-efficient cores (E cores), enabling excellent multitasking with Intel’s hardware thread scheduler on the Windows 11 operating system.
