Nvidia RTX 4090 flagship graphics card TGP 600W may use liquid cooling

According to the latest report, reliable NVIDIA revealer kopite7kimi confirmed that the TGP (total graphics power) of NVIDIA’s next-generation 90-level GPU is 600W.

The sources pointed out that the cooling solutions of Nvidia’s new generation of GPUs are generally designed months in advance, possibly even before the chips are mass-produced.

In addition, the new generation of graphics card radiators can suppress the power of 600W, which does not mean that the GPU will achieve this power consumption by default, and the highest power consumption is often achieved during overclocking.

Moreover, AMD’s flagship graphics card, the RX 6900XT, has launched a water-cooled public version. Nvidia is also very well positioned to use water cooling on its next flagship GPUs.

The RTX 40 series graphics cards should use the new PCIe Gen5 power connector, and the TGP of 600W is still within the specs of a single cable.

Furthermore, there have been some early revelations about the RTX 40, saying that there are at least six models in the Ada Lovelace RTX 40 GPU lineup: AD102, AD103, AD104, AD106, AD107, and AD10B. In terms of performance, the RTX 4060 can reach the performance of the RTX 3080.
