Moreover, Japanese cybersecurity firm MBSD reported that a hacker group is known as “Pandora” issued a statement earlier Sunday saying it had obtained more than 157,000 internal Denso documents.

It included purchase orders, emails, and design drawings, and threatened the company. If the ransom is not paid, they will release the data in full.

Denso said its German subsidiary was hit with unauthorized access to ransomware on Thursday and was investigating whether it would affect operations.

If the news is true, it means that Toyota’s supply chain has suffered continuous cybersecurity attacks in just two weeks. It is reported that Toyota supplier Kojima Press Industry reported on February 28 that it suffered a cybersecurity attack, causing all Toyota’s domestic factories to suspend production for a day on March 1.
