Xiaomi said that, as a wearable device brand with a large number of users around the world, in order to better integrate the wearable product experience of Xiaomi, it will launch a new “Xiaomi Sports Health” application as the official application of the follow-up Xiaomi wearable products.

Moreover, the new application will gradually support the migration of users’ original data, and users can log in to the Xiaomi App Store and Apple AppStore to download new applications. In the future, Xiaomi will continue to optimize the “Xiaomi Sports Health” application.

In addition, Xiaomi called for encouraging ecological chain companies to develop their own brands and agreed to rename the existing “Xiaomi Sports” as Zepp Life, becoming Huami’s sports health application, which will be independently operated by Huami.

It is reported that the Zepp Life application will continue to support the connection and use of the existing Xiaomi Mi Band 1-6 products, Xiaomi weight scale series products, and Xiaomi body fat scale series products. On the premise of ensuring user privacy and security, it will be retained on the Huami server.

Xiaomi also said that at the same time, it will work with Huami to continue to deepen cooperation in product development in the wearable field, self-developed chips, algorithms, etc., and jointly provide users with wearable hardware and software services.
