Global semiconductor material market revenue raised by 15.9% in 2021: SEMI

According to data provided by the International Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI), the global semiconductor material market revenue will increase by 15.9% in 2021, reaching 64.3 billion US dollars, surpassing the 55.5 billion US dollars market highs.

Moreover, the total revenue of wafer manufacturing materials and packaging materials in 2021 will be US$40.4 billion and US$23.9 billion, an increase of 15.5% and 16.5% year-on-year.

Furthermore, Silicon, wet chemicals, CMP, and photomasks showed the strongest growth in the wafer fabrication materials market, while the packaging materials market growth was primarily driven by organic substrates, leads, and bond wires.

Among them, the market for semiconductor materials in mainland China in 2021 will be about 11.93 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 21.9%.
