Screenshots of the game ‘Overwatch 2’ beta version appeared

The long-awaited “Overwatch 2” is coming, and its 5v5 Beta test will be launched on the PC side in designated regions in late April. Today, the official Facebook account of the “Overwatch League” accidentally leaked a screenshot of the game, which is the  5v5 hero selection interface.

Moreover, the appearance of the game character “Soldier 76” has been significantly changed from the current version, the mask disappeared and a white beard appeared. In addition, the current damage hero “Doomfist” is classified as a tank hero, which means that the hero will have major changes.

Furthermore, Blizzard’s new work “Overwatch 2” was officially announced at the BlizzCon in November 2019, but there is no specific release date until now. “Overwatch 2” PVP beta system configuration requirements show that only a Core i3 or Phenom X3 8650 CPU, a GTX 600 or HD 7000 series graphics card, and 6GB of memory are required to play.

According to reports, Blizzard Entertainment has added a batch of new multiplayer maps to Overwatch 2, with battles taking place in famous cities around the world. The first published maps are Toronto, Canada; Gothenburg, Sweden; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; New York, USA; and Monte Carlo, Monaco. 

In terms of gameplay mode, “Overwatch 2” canceled the occupation points (Control) and offensive and defensive combat (Assault) modes and changed the 6v6 PVP mode in “Overwatch 1” to 5v5.
