According to reports, the new Logo adopts a classic orange and white color scheme, and at the same time, it is changed to a smooth and smooth line design, which breaks the traditional square or circular structure and adopts an asymmetric pattern design. Orange represents Ubuntu’s bold expression of itself.

Moreover, the first version of the logo was colorful, friendly, and fun, but not very practical for the logo and looked a bit dated shortly after its release. The second edition, launched in 2010, was more succinct, reduced from a multitude of colors to the now-familiar orange and white.

There are similar practical considerations for the changes to the third edition, which are more suitable for online media formats, print, exhibitions, etc. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS version is scheduled to be released on April 21, when the new Logo will be officially launched and will gradually replace the current Logo in all aspects.
