Tesla topped in list of most trusted self-driving electric vehicle brand survey

Posted on

Recently, a new study surveyed consumers’ views on fully self-driving car technology. Tesla was recently named “the most trusted brand in the development of fully autonomous vehicles”, and Apple unexpectedly made the list at No. 6.

Moreover, Apple is perhaps the most interesting and unexpected company on this list. Although Apple has no electric car yet, and its development is only a rumor, 13% of consumers still choose Apple as their most trusted brand.

On March 15, Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said on social platforms that the long-reported Apple Car team had been disbanded for some time. If you want to mass production in 2025, you need to restructure the team within 3-6 months.

Furthermore, Apple’s credibility as a software company and tech giant clearly makes it a trusted choice for consumers. However, despite no substantial progress in its EV production, Apple is still highly trusted.

With Apple’s announcement that Kevin Lynch will unveil a fully self-driving car system in November, Apple is likely to have a self-driving car within 10 years. Pacific Motors, which conducted the study, provided consumers with a total of 56 vehicle brands.

Tesla topped the list with 32 percent of the vote, while Toyota and BMW came in second and third with 19 percent and 18 percent, respectively. Chevrolet, Ford, Apple, Honda, Audi, Subaru, and Cadillac ranked fourth to tenth.
