According to the latest report, graphics card quotations have an avalanche, and the price of high-end “RTX 3080” series products has dropped by 35% in one day in the Australian market, the largest drop in history.

Asus did not make a positive statement, emphasizing that graphics cards are classified as a component business, and it is expected that the company’s component business will show a single-digit quarterly decline this quarter. MSI said yesterday that the price of graphics cards is more sensitive and has no comment. Gigabyte pointed out that it is currently under observation.

Sources in the supply chain revealed that the price of graphics cards has been declining recently. However, the Australian market graphics card quotations have begun to bargain. The technology YouTube channel “Hardware Unboxed” found that the price of the ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming OC sold in Australia plummeted 35% in one day.

Moreover, the original price was 2299 Australian dollars, and it was reduced to 1499 Australian dollars in just one night. This is the first time in history. A huge drop could signal that prices are starting to collapse.

The German market also saw a big price cut for graphics cards. The 3DCenter website, which has been tracking NVIDIA’s RTX 3090 flagship graphics card for a long time, found that the product is now priced at only 1,999 euros.

Although it is still more expensive than the official price, it is the lowest price since August 2021. The product was swept up to 3,199 euros last May, almost double its original price.

Furthermore, in the Chinese mainland market, it is rumored that ASUS and Gigabyte have lowered the price of each graphics card by more than RMB 100, and MSI will also follow up.

Some sources also counted the price trends of all graphics cards on eBay. Compared with the situation in mid-March and February, it was found that all graphics cards had price cuts to varying degrees, with a maximum drop of more than 20%. 8.8%. Earlier, prices in February had fallen 11% from January, and the overall average decline since December has reached 25%.
