Alpha version of Steam available on Chromebooks, with a list of supported models
A few days after the official announcement, the Alpha version of Steam has been launched for Chrome OS, supporting a variety of Chromebook notebooks.

Google says Steam Alpha will only be available on “a small subset of new Chromebooks” as it focuses on “devices that can run more games,” including the following:

In terms of the game library, Chrome OS can run the same Steam games as Linux, but it can also run Windows games through the compatibility layer Proton.
