Apple Configurator application for macOS version 2.15.1 supports iPhone SE 3, iPad Air 5

According to the latest report, Apple this week updated its Apple Configurator application, which is used in schools and businesses to deploy iOS and Mac devices. The latest version of the tool makes it fully compatible with the newly released iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5, as well as the latest versions of iOS 15.4 and macOS 12.3.

With Apple Configurator, institutions such as schools or businesses can easily configure a large number of iOS and Mac devices using just one computer. The app provides options to define settings, apps, and data for students or employees.

“Apple Configurator has a flexible, device-centric design that enables users to quickly and easily configure one or dozens of devices. Simply select one or more devices and perform an action.

Through Apple Configurator, users can update software, install applications and configuration files, rename and change device wallpapers, export device information and files, and more.

Moreover, users can also inspect any device to see details such as the serial number and hardware address, which applications and configuration files are installed, and its console logs.

Furthermore, Apple Configurator version 2.15.1 of the app makes it compatible with the latest devices and a software update Apple rolled out during its “High Energy Delivery” special event earlier this month.

Last year, Apple also announced the introduction of the Apple Configurator to the iPhone. However, this iOS app is for setting up non-organizationally purchased Macs into Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager.

Apple Configurator is available for free on the App Store. The tool requires a Mac running macOS Catalina 10.15.6 or later.
