HP releases 2022 Star15 notebook

HP has now launched the 2022 Star 15 laptop with an initial price of USD 721. The device is equipped with a 12th-generation Intel Core i5-1240P processor, 12 cores, and 16 threads, clocked at 4.40GHz and has a 12MB L3 cache, with a 70% increase in multi-threading performance.

Moreover, the device also uses 16GB DDR4-3200 dual-channel memory + 512GB Nvme solid-state drive, a 1080p 15.6-inch screen, 300nit brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut, and has passed the TUV hardware low blue light eye protection certification, with a screen ratio of 86%. Supports DC dimming, AC double-sided metal, about 17.9mm thick and weighs 1.75kg.

In other respects, the device also supports fingerprint recognition, is equipped with a camera, a full-size backlit keyboard, 1.3mm key travel, supports WiFi-6, provides HDMI, full-featured USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc., and can play local FHD video for 9.5 hours, 50% charge in 45 minutes.
