New leak reveals DICE still repairing ‘Battlefield 2042’ and developing DLC for it
Before the launch of “Battlefield 2042“, EA and DICE have always believed that this game will be what fans want. But “Battlefield 2042” was criticized once it was released.
Although DICE did not give up the game, for example, they had optimized the scoreboard before, and they will also improve the map, but they also knew that the trend was over.

Moreover, @Tom Henderson broke the news that although DICE is still repairing “Battlefield 2042” and developing DLC for it, the developers have turned to another new “Battlefield” series, and most of DICE people have also been transferred to the new team for development, EA will also provide the resources needed to restore the franchise’s reputation.
Although the new Battlefield game is in the early stages of production, internal sources say DICE has learned “valuable lessons” from Battlefield 2042, “I think we’re going to revert many of the changes we made in Battlefield 2042.”
It is said that the original plan of the development team was to use “Battlefield 2042” as the basis for the future and create the next “Battlefield” game based on this. But a developer who recently left DICE has said that their next game will be like a “hero shooter” where players will fight as mercenaries.
But with recent playtests and feedback sessions focused on Battlefield 2042’s career system, that plan does appear to be changing.
Some of those invited to the meeting believed that the expert system in the next Battlefield game will more closely tie expert roles to classes, a change players will want to see ahead of Battlefield 2042’s release.
In addition, Henderson also broke the news that the next generation of “Battlefield” will still be the background setting of modern warfare.
