Google rolling out a new function: one-stop appointment clinic to see  doctor

Posted on

According to the latest report, Google announced the launch of a new feature in its search engine that allows people to make appointments for medical treatment.

In Google search, users can search for local medical institutions, understand their busy conditions, and make appointments for “same-day doctor visits” or “medical examinations.”

On this service, Google will first cooperate with the American medical institution “MinuteClinic”. “One Minute Clinic” is a subsidiary of “CVS Health Company” in the United States, and is known for its fast medical treatment.

Moreover, users can search for a “One Minute Clinic” site near their residence, and Google will return detailed search results, including the various medical services that the clinic can provide for appointments.

In a screenshot provided by Google, people can make appointments at clinics for physical examinations, vaccinations, skincare, or treatment of injuries or diseases, and the entire process can be completed within Google search without jumping to other websites.

Furthermore, this function is particularly useful for two groups, that is, there is no clinic that they go to regularly, or it is temporarily impossible to arrange a time with their own fixed doctor.

Google said that the rollout of this feature is still in the early stages, and it hopes to gradually increase the number of medical institutions and appointment functions.
