At present, due to the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the supply of some semiconductor raw materials, including neon gas, is tight. As the world’s major neon gas supplier, the two largest purifiers in Ukraine, Ingas and Cryoin, account for 45% to 54% of the world’s production.
Moreover, Moody’s also cited supply risks for metal minerals such as nickel and palladium in the region, although the impact on the most relevant automotive industry is limited.
