RTX 4090 graphics card PCB consume up to 600W power

NVIDIA released the H100 GPU core, everyone knows the RTX 40 series for game cards is approaching. Recently the high-end RTX 4090 graphics card has been exposed, the TBP power consumption can reach up to 600W, and the memory capacity up to 24GB.

We know that the RTX 40 GPU code series graphics card is Ada Lovelace, and the big core is AD102, which will be used for the RTX 4090 graphics card. The Igorslab website recently presented the PCB configuration of the AD102 core, revealing more key information.

The power consumption of the whole TBP card reaches 600W. For this reason, the power supply configuration is very luxurious and requires 24 power supply controllers, but the 24-channel power supply is actually the original 8-phase power supply.

Furthermore, for your information, the 24-channel output is realized through the phase doubler chip, in which the memory power supply has an independent 4-phase power supply.

You can see that the entire card has 12 video memory chips, each of which can be matched with 1GB or 2GB of Micron GDDR6X video memory, so the video memory capacity is between 12GB and 24GB, and 24GB is more likely.

The FE public version will use a three-slot air-cooled radiator, while the manufacturer’s non-public version will be larger, with a 3.5-slot radiator, and of course, there will be an AIO integrated water cooling and split behind. Water-cooled product.

In addition, this PCB should be compatible with RTX 3090 Ti, which may be NVIDIA, and manufacturers to prepare in advance for the 600W power consumption, power supply, and heat dissipation design of the RTX 40 series graphics cards.
