ASUS will cut graphics cards prices by 25% in the U.S.

Since the beginning of this year, the data shows that the overall price of the independent displays shows a downward trend. Even now some mid-to-high-end cards such as the RTX 3070Ti are close to the suggested retail price, and analysts believe that the GPU is likely to drop to the original price in the next two months.

The U.S. government confirmed last week that it would lift some restrictions on imports from China, such as tariffs on some PC components, including graphics cards. Following the executive order, ASUS confirmed a 25 percent reduction in graphics card prices in the U.S. market.

In an email to Tom’s Hardware from an Asus representative, the company promised to reduce prices on graphics cards from April 1 across models ranging from low-end to high-end series.

Moreover, no other board card manufacturers have confirmed that they will reduce the price of graphics cards in the United States, but the industry expects that other companies are likely to follow ASUS in reducing prices.

Some sources believe that although this price cut will not directly affect the prices of graphics cards in other countries. But when the U.S. imposed tariffs, it was also a reason for the surge in GPU prices. With this in mind, sources believe that the expected wave of price cuts will have a global impact in some form.
