NASA aims to send humans to Mars by 2040

According to the latest report, NASA executives said that the White House has requested a $26 billion budget for NASA in 2023 to fund Artemisdon Moon, Earth Science, and more, the agency aims to send humans to Mars by 2040.

Moreover, Lunar and Mars exploration, space technology, and Earth science are among the priorities of the U.S. government’s budget proposal, which calls for an increase of $1.93 billion (or 8 percent) to the 2022 grant NASA has received.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said: “Our goal is to apply our experience of living and operating on the Moon and then continue to develop into the solar system. Our plan is to have humans walk on Mars by 2040.

Furthermore, the United States is implementing the “Artemis” moon landing plan, with the goal of returning to the moon in 2025.
