Team Group Technology announced the launch of ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory, which is expected to be available in mid-April. The TEAMGROUP ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory has a standard DDR5 memory frequency of 4,800MHz, which is up to 50% higher than the standard DDR4 upper limit of 3,200MHz.

Moreover, the operating voltage has dropped from 1.2V of DDR4 to DDR5 standard Voltage of 1.1V. In addition, DDR5 has twice the burst Length of DDR4, which can increase the amount of data read and written in a single memory, and the DDR5-specific Same-Bank Refresh command can process data in multiple storage units synchronously.
According to Team Group Technology, the ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 memory includes 8GB to 32GB of single and dual-pass capacity, and the first wave is expected to be available for sale in mid-April 2022.
In addition to notebook applications, TEAMGROUP ELITE SO-DIMM DDR5 notebook memory plans to widely support Intel NUC platforms and mini desktops with Mini-ITX motherboards in the future.
