According to the latest report, Samsung’s 13.3, 13.5, 14, 14.5, 15.6 and 16-inch OLED screens have obtained the “Flicker-Free” certification from the certification company TUV Rheinland.

Moreover, stroboscopic refers to the phenomenon of slight shaking of the screen due to unstable brightness on a TV or display screen. Although it is difficult for the human eye to recognize the stroboscopic phenomenon, being in such a visual environment for a long time can cause headaches, eye fatigue, and vision loss.

Furthermore, the test results of the German Rheinland show that Samsung OLED will not produce stroboscopic phenomena at different refresh rates of 60 Hz, 90 Hz, and 120 Hz.

At the same time, Samsung notebook OLED can effectively reduce harmful blue light (Bule Light), and has obtained the “Eye Care Display” certification from the certification company SGS.

The amount of harmful blue light from Samsung OLED products is 1/3 that of LCDs. SGS’ evaluation results show that when the Samsung OLED screen is adjusted to “dark mode” compared to light mode, the amount of harmful blue light is reduced by 78%.

Besides, there are more and more notebooks equipped with Samsung OLED screens, and the latest specifications can reach 15.6 inches 2.8K 120Hz.
