Apple announced $50 million to train supplier employees

According to the latest information, On March 30, Apple’s official website issued the latest press release, announcing a United States Dollars 50 million development fund for supplier employees.

Apple says the fund will expand learning opportunities and skills development opportunities, and the fund also includes new and expanded partnerships with leading rights advocates, universities.

Furthermore, nonprofits to advance Apple’s ongoing work to enhance supply empowerment of business workers and promote greater awareness and respect for workplace rights across industries.

Apple revealed that the new education program will initially offer courses to individuals in the U.S., China, India, and Vietnam. Because of this education program, many supplier employees will be benefitted.

By 2023, Apple expects to have more than 100,000 supplier employees participating in new learning opportunities ranging from leadership training and technical certifications to coding, robotics, and advanced manufacturing fundamentals.

Sarah Chandler, Apple’s senior director of environment and supply chain, said “Everything we do is people-centric, and we’re proud to announce a new commitment to accelerate our progress and expand opportunities for people in our supply chain. ”
