The Apple Apple Store in Myeongdong will hold a grand opening ceremony on April 9 (Saturday) at 10 am. Due to the pandemic, participation in the opening ceremony requires an appointment, which can be made through Apple’s website starting at 8:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, April 7.

To celebrate the grand opening, Apple shared a short video and made a special wallpaper available for download for iPhones, iPad, and Mac. In a recent “Tabletops” newsletter about Apple retail, Michael Steeber said the video and wallpaper were inspired by a traditional Korean art style known as “Chaekgeori.”
The courses allow customers to use Apple products and accessories, such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Pencil, to learn skills related to photography, art, design, video, coding, music, and more, and can be booked for free through Apple’s website.
The Apple Store in Myeongdong will be Apple’s 518th retail store operating globally and its third Apple Store location in South Korea.
