First, the driver contains the “3D V-Cache Performance Optimizer Driver”, which improves the performance of the upcoming Ryzen 7 5800X3D processors. AMD first announced the CPU at this year’s CES, with plans to ship on April 20.

According to AMD, the addition of 3D V-cache increases game performance by an average of 15%, and this driver will boost performance even further; however, it’s unclear whether AMD has included these optimizations in its performance figures.

In addition to the 3D V-cache driver, AMD also provides USB4 support through the chipset’s ” USB4 CM ” (Connection Manager) driver. AMD’s new Ryzen 6000 mobile APUs will support this feature along with AV1 decoding and more.

Moreover, USB4 will support speeds up to 40Gbps, which means that eGPU (external graphics card) can be used. The driver has not yet appeared on AMD’s official website, and it is expected to be released soon, or wait until April 20 to launch with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
