At 29 seconds in the promotional video of Intel Arc Control’s graphics card control software, Intel posted a picture of the parameters of an unreleased GPU. The GPU utilization is 99.57%, the power is 175W, the GPU frequency is 2250 MHz, and the VRAM frequency is 1093 MHz.

Moreover, 175W is just GPU power, not full board power, which means the graphics card is likely 200W. These specs indicate that it will be a very high-end GPU, in line with AMD’s RX 6700 XT or Nvidia’s RTX 3070.

Furthermore, previous news said that Intel may launch its Arc series desktop graphics cards in May or June, with full AV1 encoding and decoding support. AV1 is a direct competitor to HEVC – Intel claims AV1 is 20% more efficient at the same bit rate and 50% more efficient than h.264.

Additionally, Arc graphics cards will support features such as XeSS, a new media engine and XMX AI acceleration.
