The latest report from iDropNews claims that the 2022 MacBook Air is equipped with an M2 chip, and it is unclear whether it will only have white bangs. LeaksApplePro said that although he received images of the product, anonymous sources have asked not to make them public.

Reports say the M2 MacBook Air’s display will increase from 13.3 inches to 13.6 inches due to narrowed bezels. Despite the notch on top, the upcoming MacBook Air will not support Face ID. On the other hand, this also means that Apple may bring the design to more future MacBooks.

Moreover, the current MacBook Air is equipped with an M1 processor, up to 16GB of memory, and 2TB SSD, with a screen size of 13.3 inches, 2560 x 1600 (227 PPI), 400 nits brightness, wide color gamut (P3), has two Thunderbolt 4 ports. The current MacBook Air is 1.61 cm thick and weighs 1.29kg.

From the appearance, the screen frame of the current MacBook Air has not reached the level of the current high-end thin and light notebooks. Apple may upgrade the screen size from 13.3 inches to 13.6 inches by reducing the screen frame while the overall size remains unchanged.
