Moreover, Apple hasn’t released a charger with dual USB-C ports yet, so this could be something Apple is working on. 35W can charge or power a variety of Apple devices, from MacBook Air to iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and HomePod. For iPhones and iPads, it’s functional enough to support fast charging.
According to reports, the charger will support the following modes: 5VDC / 3A or 9VDC / 3A or 15VDC / 2.33A or 20VDC / 1.75A, and will provide up to 35W of total charging power instead of 35W per USB-C port.
Furthermore, Ming-Chi Kuo also revealed that Apple’s new 30W charger uses gallium nitride GaN technology, which can achieve a smaller and lighter form factor.
