Apple’s new Mac mini may be equipped with M2 processor

According to the latest report, developer Steve Troughton-Smith recently found traces of the unreleased new Mac mini in the Studio Display firmware, after news that the device is coming soon.

The Mac mini was one of the first devices to feature an Apple Silicon processor, and it was recently revealed that the new Mac mini will be one of the first devices to feature an Apple M2 processor.

Moreover, the new Mac mini has been rumored to launch in the spring of 2022, and more recently it has been suggested that the device may be unveiled at WWDC on June 6. WWDC focuses on software and generally does not launch new hardware products.

Earlier news said that the new Mac mini may be redesigned, with a smaller body, a plexiglass-like top, and two-tone color options. But well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said on Twitter last month that Apple would not launch a new Mac mini until 2023.
