After that, a large number of All-Russian transport cards will appear at subway ticket offices, where passengers can buy them. Relevant departments said that the replacement of domestic chips will not affect the function of transportation cards.
Moreover, passengers who choose Troika to pay for public transport trips (about 85%) will see no difference. In addition, the Moscow government will have more opportunities to create new transport services.
Furthermore, the new smart transportation card was launched by the Moscow Metro Corporation and Mikron, Russia’s largest semiconductor manufacturer.
