Tesla rolling out 2022.12.1 firmware update, child lock control upgraded

According to the latest report, Tesla electric cars began to push the 2022.12.1 firmware and software update, and the child lock function was upgraded. You can choose which door has a child lock on the large screen instead of manually locking it.

Moreover, the bottom program bar can be customized, wiper, defrost, seat heating shortcut keys are back; Tesla mobile app can control camping mode, dog mode.

Now, the child lock can be turned on only for one side of the rear door, which is convenient for rear passengers to get in and out of the car, and also protects the safety of children. Tap Controls > Child Lock and choose Left, Right, or Both Sides.

Furthermore, you can pin frequently used apps to the bottom menu bar of the touchscreen, such as front/rear windshield defrost, wipers, and seat heating. Press and hold any application icon to enter edit mode, then drag the relevant icon to the bottom bar to quickly open the application.

Now, “dog mode” and “camping mode” can be turned on through the Tesla App, making it more flexible and convenient to remotely control the temperature of the cabin.

Besides, the Turkish language is added to this release. To switch the language setting, click Controls > Display > Touchscreen Language and select “Turkish” from the drop-down options.
