Moreover, Rogozin said that all three “Proton” rockets scheduled to launch in 2022 are currently located at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
According to reports, another was planned to be used to launch the Russian-European ExoMars-2022 mission, but the mission was canceled due to sanctions. The payload of the third rocket is currently being studied.
Furthermore, Rogozin also pointed out that the main task of Russia’s rocket space industry is to increase the number of satellites in orbit, adding that ” we need satellites now, and there are already many rockets .”
