Kirin Software said on April 13 that UKUI3 has realized the adaptation with openEuler 22.03 LTS as scheduled. Based on the UKUI desktop environment integrated into openEuler 21.09, UKUI3 optimizes system components such as network plug-ins, login programs, and scheduled shutdowns, and has solved 200+ desktop environment and application software problems, improving system stability and security.
Moreover, UKUI 3 adopts a new design appearance, using soft colors and a rounded and gentle design style, and supports light and dark themes. In addition, UKUI 3 supports the taskbar preview function. The window preview function can be called out instantly by hovering the mouse, and the size of the preview window will be automatically adjusted according to the number of open windows.
In terms of smart layout, the start menu supports full-screen mode, provides smart memory for common application list functions and search functions, and supports default and full-screen size switching. Users can switch to full-screen mode with one click through the extension button in the upper right corner.
In the file manager, UKUI 3 adds a tab page function to it, which is convenient for users to quickly open multiple folders in the current window at the same time; it also adds a new advanced search, which combines the search bar of the file manager with the address bar is combined into one and supports multiple search filter mechanisms, which can help users quickly and accurately search for the desired files.
