Microsoft released Windows 11 Dev/Beta Preview 22598.100 (KB5014100) cumulative update

After Microsoft Win11 Dev / Beta preview version Build 22598 was released on April 14, Microsoft pushed the 22598.100 (KB5014100) cumulative update to build 22598 today.

Moreover, this update does not contain any new content and is designed to test service pipelines built in the Dev and Beta channels. Microsoft’s Windows 11 Dev/Beta preview Build 22598, which was pushed out on April 14, brings a number of improvements, including changing the  Windows 11 default background, Windows Spotlight showing a beautiful background, with a context menu to like or dislike the background, you can also switch to a different background.

This release also rolls out a new update for Windows 11 Media Player (version 11.2203.30.0), When browsing the collection, users can now switch between two different views of the artist page. One view shows all albums in a grid; another view shows all songs, grouped by album. Microsoft has also added quick actions for albums, artists, videos, and playlists, which can be quickly selected and played when users hover over them.

Furthermore, there is also now a handy context menu available if the user right-clicks on the playback screen. From here new files can be opened without navigating to another page. Users can also quickly access the current song’s album page and artist page. 

Microsoft has also added a new “Video Enhancement” feature that allows adjusting the brightness and contrast of videos. Additionally, Windows 11 Dev/Beta preview Build 22598 comes with a bunch of fixes.
