OpenSignal research reports that Verizon customers are connected to mmWave only 0.5% of the time they use their phones because mmWave is a short-range technology that Verizon hasn’t rolled out to many places. The lack of support doesn’t make a difference, considering there are so few people around the millimeter-wave tower.
