The report pointed out that Samsung Electronics significantly lowered the total orders of panel factories in March and April to 2.5 million units, and LG Electronics lowered its LCD panel purchases in the second quarter by about 700,000 units.

Moreover, the report said that the world’s two major TV giants took the lead in reducing the purchase of TV panels, especially large-size LCD TV panels, which not only delayed the decline in panel prices but also caused large-size panels to decline more than expected.

CINNO Research predicts that global LCD TV panels 32″ and 43″ will continue to fall by US$1~2 in April; 50″ will stop falling; 55″ will fall by US$2~4; 65″ and 75″ panels will fall more than expected, still Around $8, average quotes are expected to fall to $152 and $242, respectively, in April.
