NASA used ‘holographic teleportation’ technology take flight surgeon to International Space Station
According to the latest report, last October, NASA used “holographic teleportation” technology to take flight surgeon, Dr. Josef Schmid, to the International Space Station, while the doctor himself was still on Earth.

Reportedly, this is the first time this virtual technology has been taken off-Earth, with a high-quality 3D model of the doctor himself being digitally compressed, transmitted, and reconstructed between the two places, all in real-time.
Meanwhile, astronauts on the International Space Station wear Microsoft HoloLens and interact with doctors as if they were in the same physical space.
Moreover, NASA intends to expand its system by adding augmented reality (AR) capabilities, where holographically teleported people can actually move around the space station and observe things as if they were really there, potentially helping astronauts.
It provides alien telemedicine, and international space station construction projects even facilitate future deep space exploration.
