According to Samsung official news, Samsung Electronics announced today that its Smart Monitor series has sold more than 1 million units globally.

Samsung said it has enhanced its product lineup this year on the back of the popularity of its first smart display at the end of 2020. Now, Samsung offers 11 smart displays, including the M8, M7, and M5.
Moreover, Samsung’s latest M8 smart display has now begun to accept pre-orders in various colors and specifications worldwide. The price on Samsung’s official website in the United States starts at $700.
The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is a 32-inch 4K monitor with a QLED display that supports HDR10+ and has a 99% sRGB color gamut. In terms of sound, it uses 2.2-channel stereo speakers and supports Adaptive Sound+. Design-wise, the monitor has a slim profile with a thickness of only 11.4mm.
Furthermore, the monitor runs on Tizen OS, can run audio and video streaming services, and also comes with voice assistant Bixby, which supports Samsung SmartThings IoT Hub and Samsung Health.
Elsewhere, the monitor supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 5, Wireless DeX, and Apple AirPlay 2, as well as a detachable SlimFit camera.
