Chip production capacity may remain tight by 2023: ASML

Wennink said that due to capacity constraints, ASML can only meet about 60% of its deep ultraviolet lithography machine needs.

It is reported that the financial report released by ASML shows that in the first quarter of 2022, ASML achieved net sales of 3.5 billion euros, a gross profit margin of 49.0%, and a net profit of 695 million euros, and new orders of 7 billion euros. A total of 59 new lithography systems and 3 used lithography systems were sold in the quarter, compared to 72 and 10 in the previous quarter.
