MSI launched i9-12900KS dedicated BIOS for 600 series motherboards

According to the latest report, MSI announced the release of i9-12900KS dedicated BIOS for its 600 series motherboards. MSI said that the current MSI 600 series motherboards are fully compatible with the i9-12900KS processor. For the best performance, MSI has released an optimized BIOS for the Z690 motherboard for gamers to update.

Moreover, the i9-12900KS is designed with 8 large cores + 8 small cores, of which the main frequency of the small core is 2.5GHz and the turbo frequency is 4GHz, which is 100MHz higher than that of the i9-12900K.

Furthermore, the main frequency of the large core is 3.4GHz and the turbo frequency is 5.5 GHz, which is 300MHz higher than i9-12900K. The basic power consumption of this processor is 150W, which is 25W higher than that of the i9-12900K, and the maximum turbo power consumption is 241W, which is the same as the i9-12900K.
